Identity and Belonging - What could be done? Suggestions from the previous stage included promoting the identity of Dundonald and making it a place to be proud of.
Dundonald has various assets which are not promoted as they could be by the likes of SAC. The people of Dundonald are rightly proud of the likes of the castle and this could be used as a starting point to draw in visitors/ tourists. A little cross promotion with other local amenities -like the excellent local golf courses - wouldn't go amiss. There has certainly been a return of American visitors wanting to play golf but not many know the amazing history sitting just across the hill.
