The Ayr Ark was established in 2002 to provide a solution to the growing problem of underage drinking and anti-social behaviour among the young people of South Ayrshire. Our aim is to provide a safe space for the children and young people (aged between 11 and 18) and to fill their visits with fun and exciting activities both indoor and outdoor. We would also looking to set up our own football team to strengthen team work and the feel of unity in the kids who visit us.

Connecting digitally will allow us to build a dynamic community - particularly in the school, community and family groups we work with, creating personalised resources to improve mental health and wellbeing.

The village hall is used by many different community groups. We desperately need some upgrades. This would help to improve and develop our volunteer run community asset, which sits at the heart of our village.

Our playground projects will benefit all of our pupils and the wider community with socialising and health and well being to enhance our school which is the heart of the community. This would also be a great piece of equipment for our SEN pupils.

New kayaking equipment and pontoon ladder will allow us to safely expand boating activities for more of our cadets, supporting youth development for years to come and community engagement.

Youth Work: Provides safe, youth focused wellbeing tools that boost confidence, reduce anxiety and encourage peer sharing. Adult & Family Learning: Teaches self-help skills journaling, mindfulness techniques and creative expression. Community Development: Builds connections between young carers and local mental-health partners through resource referrals.

Installing patio furniture and planters will create a welcoming space for the sheltered housing residents, encouraging socialising, reducing isolation, and supporting wellbeing and community spirit.The residents of Morrison Gardens Sheltered Housing complex would like to improve the communal patio area by purchasing patio furniture and planters to create a more welcoming and accessible outdoor environment. Residents will be able to come together to relax, connect with others, and enjoy time out

Community Gift Exchange SCIO proposes to refurbish and distribute 10 bikes to adults living in the area who would like to enjoy the health and wellbeing, and cost saving benefits of riding a bike but, impacted by the cost of living crisis, are not able to afford to buy a safe and affordable bike themselves. Producing the bikes in our Ayr based Cycle Works also provides additional training and inclusion volunteering opportunities for young people, people with disabilities, and retired people.
