The IT equipment would benefit the hall in terms of increasing lets as within the facility we could accommodate learning seminars and business meetings by offering a hybrid approach and also access to online learning which would enhance the development our our community hall. Also having a new notice board would allow the community to clearly display any activities and events that is happening within the local area and hopefully encourage participation.

Troon Men's Shed are working on a Community Asset Transfer to acquire the former Hosiery Park Pavilion and to develop it as a Men's Shed to provide a meeting and activity space for men in Troon.

The funding received will directly support the creation of a pop-up museum within the Broadway’s foyer, to preserve the collective memories of cinema-going in South Ayrshire and become the first indoor museum experience in Prestwick in living memory.
