We are a group of volunteers who meet monthly and work to improve access and inclusion for disabled people in our local community. We aim to do this by raising awareness and helping to change attitudes among the general public about the need for inclusive access. We also aim to raise awareness of hidden disabilities. After the recent bout of storms and severe weather we have quickly learned that we are not fully equipped to deal with power cuts. We want to increase our community resilience by providing power (in the form of a generator) and a warm space in our community centre, plus provide torches, hot food and drinks for the community, including housebound residents who cannot be moved to the community centre.

To improve social isolation and loneliness as well as foster healthy, safe and inclusive community within South Ayrshire Council. We are aiming to reach this by using funding to improve our green and club house facilities.
