Disabled Toilet and Access Ramp installations

The Maybole Women's Group has been together for approx a year. The funding would help us purchase equipment that we could use to make items we could then sell and help sustain us going forward. The group is made of women who were isolated due to covid, anxiety or mental health issues. We meet weekly in Maybole Library and work with Thriving Communities and other external sectors who can meet our needs.

To improve social isolation and loneliness as well as foster healthy, safe and inclusive community within South Ayrshire Council. We are aiming to reach this by using funding to improve our green and club house facilities.

Governance Review & Skills Audit

After the recent bout of storms and severe weather we have quickly learned that we are not fully equipped to deal with power cuts. We want to increase our community resilience by providing power (in the form of a generator) and a warm space in our community centre, plus provide torches, hot food and drinks for the community, including housebound residents who cannot be moved to the community centre.
