We are a group of volunteers who meet monthly and work to improve access and inclusion for disabled people in our local community. We aim to do this by raising awareness and helping to change attitudes among the general public about the need for inclusive access. We also aim to raise awareness of hidden disabilities. To improve social isolation and loneliness as well as foster healthy, safe and inclusive community within South Ayrshire Council. We are aiming to reach this by using funding to improve our green and club house facilities.

The Maybole Women's Group has been together for approx a year. The funding would help us purchase equipment that we could use to make items we could then sell and help sustain us going forward. The group is made of women who were isolated due to covid, anxiety or mental health issues. We meet weekly in Maybole Library and work with Thriving Communities and other external sectors who can meet our needs.
