Please describe what you plan to do and what the money will be used for? (i.e., purchase equipment/resources)

The Girvan Town House Regeneration Project will fully restore and reconfigure the historic Town House into a vibrant accessible community enterprise and visitor destination.

Located at the heart of Girvan bridging the beach and harbour with the town centre the project will transform the building into a multi use asset:

• Ground Floor: Relocated and expanded Tourist Information Point and Visitor and Heritage Centre, an expanded gift shop showcasing local makers, and a commercial bistro and event space opening directly onto Knockcushan Garden.

• First Floor: Four modernised offices providing dedicated office space for vital community and family support services alongside affordable workspaces for local small businesses plus an expanded community room, kitchen, and accessible facilities.

• Dormer Attic: Two dedicated creative studios for local artists and makers.

• Accessibility and Upgrades: A new passenger lift serving the primary public and enterprise spaces on the ground and first floors, upgraded accessible entrances, and essential energy efficiency improvements to ensure the building is inclusive and sustainable for the future.

This project creates a financially self sustaining venue that supports local jobs, boosts town centre footfall, and protects a cherished local landmark for generations to come.
