In relation to the identified priorities in the Guidance & Essential criteria what will your idea achieve and who will benefit from your project?

Delivers Priority 2 (Live, Work, Learn) and Priority 3 (Civic & Community Pride) through inclusive, low-cost archery across South Ayrshire, including Annbank, Ayr and Craigie, benefiting beginners, disabled participants and communities facing economic barriers.

Please describe what you plan to do and what the money will be used for? (i.e., purchase equipment/resources)

We plan to expand our archery provision across South Ayrshire, including Annbank, Ayr and Craigie, by delivering accessible Beginners Courses and community sessions that are inclusive and affordable.

Funding will be used to purchase additional beginner equipment to create a sustainable equipment library, ensuring participants can take part without the need for personal investment. This will support ongoing delivery in areas facing economic barriers.

In addition, we will purchase training and adaptive equipment to better support disabled archers and those with additional needs, allowing sessions to be tailored and fully inclusive.

Overall, the funding will enable us to widen participation, improve accessibility, and deliver long-term, sustainable opportunities that support learning, wellbeing, and community pride.

Location: The project will be based Indoors at Riverside Sports Arena, Annbank Community Hall and Pebble Park, AnnbankC/O Annbank Community Football
