In relation to the identified priorities in the Guidance & Essential criteria what will your idea achieve and who will benefit from your project?

Our project is setup to benefit the most marginalised and vulnerable people in society, whose lives have been adversely affected by drink, drugs, crime, unemployment, homelessness, violence, mental health difficulties, grief, trauma and other life controlling issues. We aim to do this by providing practical, spiritual, emotional and mental wellbeing support. We offer crisis intervention in relation to food poverty, we have programmes in place to prepare people for employment and education.

Please describe what you plan to do and what the money will be used for? (i.e., purchase equipment/resources)

We plan to continue the much needed work, offering hot meals and drinks and physical, mental, spiritual and practical support to vulnerable people who access our service.  The money will be used to pay for food parcels, hot meals and drinks at the weekly drop-in and crisis intervention when needed.  We will also meet any training costs for staff and volunteers to enhance their skills and upgrade their knowledge in relation to their job role.
