Carrick Centre: Welcoming Spaces

New seating, lighting and cleaning equipment will make the Carrick Centre more welcoming for local residents and visitors, encouraging more visits and supporting community activities.
Please describe what you plan to do and what the money will be used for? (i.e., purchase equipment/resources)
We plan to improve the Carrick Centre’s reception, café and Culzean room. The funding will purchase:

Reception seating, providing a comfortable place for visitors to sit while waiting.

Café armchairs, creating a welcoming space for people to meet and socialise.

Fairy lights for the Culzean room, improving the atmosphere for community activities, events and room hire.

A carpet cleaner, helping us keep carpets and compatible upholstery clean and well maintained.
These improvements will make the Centre more attractive and comfortable for residents, community groups and visitors, encouraging repeat visits and supporting café and room-hire income.
