What will the benefits be to groups sharing their information?

By sharing your proposed projects with us, it will enable us to help identify any funding opportunities that become available and signpost them to your organisation.  It helps us as a council to build a picture of the requirements of groups in relation to funding, no matter how big or small they may be.

As well as sharing the information with us, it will also let you showcase your project ideas to other local organisations within South Ayrshire, and this may help with:

  • Reduced duplication of effort — When groups know what others are doing, they can collaborate instead of repeating the same work, saving time and resources
  • Opportunities for joint projects — offering you the opportunity to connect with other like-minded organisations and share good practise and knowledge
  • Faster access to help and resources — Information about services, events, funding, or support spreads more quickly, especially for people who might otherwise be left out

Communities that share information openly tend to attract new members, volunteers, and partners. Transparency signals that the community is active, welcoming, and worth investing in.
