South Ayrshire's Coastal Community Fund has been established to invest funds from the region's allocation of net revenue from Scottish Crown Estate marine assets out to 12 nautical miles across South Ayrshire. 

The fund consists of a small grants fund and a development fund.

Applications open on Monday 4th May, and  close on 24th May 2026.

Applications are now open for the Coastal Comunities Fund 2025/26

Please ensure that you have read and understood the guidance and application criteria on the information page before applying.  

To begin your application, click the 'Download the application form here' button at the bottom of this page and begin your application. This is a word document.

Once you have completed your application please go to the 'Create a Funding Application' tab at the top right of this page and complete the following fields:

Heading - 

Title - Group Name

Project Summary - Project Name only

Description - N/A

Estimated cost - amount you are applying for

Project Picture - if you have a picture of your organisation/group (this is optional)

Documents - upload your completed application only here. Please save as a PDF before uploading. 

Then check agree box for Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of use and submit application.

The closing date is Sunday 24th May 2026.

Applications have now closed, and are now being reviewed by the awards panel.

We may contact you during this period to confirm information or ask for additional information, so please keep checking your inbox (and junk/spam folders) just in case. 

All applicants will be notified via email once the status of their application has been confirmed.

An awards panel comprising of a representative from the Community Planning Partnership, Third Sector organisations and South Ayrshire Council officers,  will review all applications and inform groups of the outcome of their submission. 

The Award panel decisions are final, there is no appeals process.
