£1,000
In relation to the identified priorities in the Guidance & Essential criteria what will your idea achieve and who will benefit from your project?
Training communities in palliative and end-of-life care brings several public health benefits. It improves the quality of care and symptom management, reduces isolation for patients and families, and empowers caregivers. These programs foster open discussions about death, support those in bereavement, and strengthen community resilience by encouraging mutual aid and lessening healthcare burdens. Additionally, training ensures that care respects the cultural and personal values of individuals. Please describe what you plan to do and what the money will be used for? (i.e., purchase equipment/resources)
The funding would be used to secure venues for training and providing the resources and hand outs for the training day itself.
